PARTY VENUES IN TOOWOOMBA
The Rock is a party and celebration venue at 520 Ruthven Street in the Toowoomba CBD, with two private function spaces. Level One holds up to 150 guests for a cocktail party and Room 1911 holds up to 60 for smaller gatherings. Both come with a private bar, a dedicated event manager and your own event staff. Booking fees start at $300 and celebration packages start at $100 per person for two hours including food and drinks.

LEVEL ONE
Exclusive hire, up to 150 guests
Level One sits above the Top Bar with views over Ruthven Street and the beer garden below. It is an exclusive use space with its own private bar, six large screens and a dance floor, which makes it the room for a party that needs space to move.

ROOM 1911
Exclusive hire, up to 60 guests
Room 1911 is the secluded option for smaller gatherings, with a private bar and your own event staff so nothing interrupts the night. Choose canapés, a roaming menu or settle in for a seated meal.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many people can The Rock hold for a party?
Level One holds up to 150 guests for a cocktail party and Room 1911 holds up to 60. Room 1911 seats 40 for a banquet, 32 cabaret style, 60 theatre style and 20 in a U shape.
Is there a booking fee or room hire fee?
Yes. The booking fee covers your room hire, the event planning team, event staff, furniture and equipment. It starts at $300 and is separate to the minimum spend.
What contributes to the minimum spend?
Both pre ordered food and drinks and anything you or your guests buy on the day count toward the minimum spend. The booking fee does not.
Do I need to book a function for a group of friends?
If you are hosting more than 20 people, yes. Groups of up to 20 can book under standard booking conditions with no deposit or minimum spend, and your guests can buy their own food and drinks in our function spaces.
When do you need final guest numbers?
Confirmed numbers are requested 14 days before your function. Numbers commonly move up or down from what you gave at the time of booking, and that's fine.
How much should I put on a bar tab?
A rough guide is $15 per drink, multiplied by the number of drinks you want to cover per guest, multiplied by your guest numbers. You set the limit and can extend it during the night if you want to.
Can I restrict what guests order on the bar tab?
Yes. Common options are beer, wine, soft drink and basic spirits, or a full open bar with cocktails, shots, doubles and top shelf excluded. You can also cap the dollar limit or the hours it runs.
Do all guests need to be on the same beverage package?
Yes. A beverage package covers the whole group from start to finish. Staggered times and individual packages are not permitted, apart from minors and pregnant guests.
How do I book?
Contact our events team and we'll send a booking form with our terms and conditions and how to secure the date. Your booking is confirmed once the contract is returned and the booking fee is paid.
What happens if I have to cancel?
All payments made towards your function are non refundable.
Can I hire extra equipment such as a stage?
Yes. A portable stage is already included, and our team can supply a list of recommended vendors for anything else you need.
Can we split the bill across several cards?
Yes, we can split payment between two or more cards or other methods.
